Halogen bulbs with glass base, used for rear lights (stop, indicators and position lights) and auxiliary lights (side marker lights). Available for 12 V or 24 V systems, and in different colours (clear, blue or orange) depending on the application.
The halogen bulb offers significant advantages over the classic incandescent bulb. In the glass bulb filled with halogen gas, a tungsten filament is heated by electricity to emit a bright light in the halogen projector.
Halogen technology is still the most used for car headlight bulbs: more than 80% of cars on the road today are equipped with halogen bulbs.
