Sigillaraccordi for pipes and metal fittings LOCTITE 572, single-component. This anaerobic sealant is a thixotropic and high-viscosity product, formulated for locking and sealing threaded metal pipes and fittings to ensure airtight sealing in fluid or gas systems.
Cures in the absence of air and in contact with metal, preventing loosening due to shocks and vibrations.

Areas of application:

Instructions for Use:

• Clean internal and external surfaces to achieve the best result
• Apply a 360° bead of product on the male thread, leaving the first thread free. Then spread the product filling the gaps between the threads
• For large-sized pipes/fittings, apply a bead also on the female threads
• Use suitable closing tools, tighten the parts

Warnings:

• This product is generally not recommended for use on plastic materials (particularly on thermoplastics, where "stress cracking" may occur)
