• The USEFUL LIFE of IRUDEK fall protection devices is 11 years (1 year of storage and 10 years of use) from the production date for textile devices and unlimited useful life for metal devices.
• Periodic inspections: regardless of the recommended service life, the fall protection device must be inspected periodically at least every 12 months, starting from the date of first use. The periodic inspection can only be carried out by a competent person, trained by the manufacturer or its authorized representative, according to EN 365 standard (PPE against falls from height)
